My Love For 1990s CGI!

Image
I have always loved '90s CGI, which is why I want my 3D games to look like 1990s CGI! I enjoy the floppy, smooth and hammy charm, it puts joy into my heart and it often is more fun to watch than modern CGI. I have always also liked CGI videos that children have made. Check out these six examples!

10 Ways To Make Your Lifestyle Zany

Image
I really hope that one of these days someone hires me to give their room a wacked out makeover, but here are ways you can do it yourself! #1. Goofy shapes- take some brightly-colored cardstock, draw silly shapes like splats, stars and swirls, cut the shapes out and glue them to a bulletin board. #2. Insane Entertainment Center- if you want to play a really fun to play your video games and watch movies, take an old fashioned wooden bookshelf, paint it with different bright colors and glue things to it like googly eyes, checkerboards and drawn wacky faces. Your TV goes on top of the shelf. And don't just put your games on the shelf, put them in a checkered box. #3. LEGO toothbrush holders- explains itself, just go wild with LEGO building like you did when you were a kid!

Learn About The Treat I Love To Make!

When I was getting ready to be in middle school, I still watched Disney's preschool shows every now and then, and there was an episode that caught my eye! It was a cartoon that taught kids how to make fun and easy recipes. It was a hot bug with a banana instead of a sausage and they spread peanut butter and jelly onto it. Now I made that treat last year and I loved it, but I got sick of even eating every day. I often put cereal pieces onto it instead of jelly. Does this recipe amaze you or have you scratching your head? I think I should make for when I'm playing video games! I tastes great with soda.

The Things I Really Like About The Year I Was Born!

Image
If you've ever wondered how old I was, there used to be a blog post about it, but I deleted. But anyways, if you haven't seen any posts that were on my birthday last year, I was born in 1999. Yep. My birthday is months away, but I was indeed born at the very end of the 1990s and I'm proud of it! Here are some things I love about the year I was born! It was the year SpongeBob SquarePants premiered... It was the year this movie of my childhood came out, there's more in another post... And finally it was the year a lot of video games I've always liked came out, such as Super Smash Bros, Crash Team Racing and Sonic Adventure!

The Beta of Adventures In Mess Making (2025)

The concept of Adventures In Mess Making goes back to the beginning of the 2020s, when I decided to get into coding just because my mom told me that I should, even though I wasn't interested at first and just wanted to enjoy video games. I got a new laptop for Christmas from my grandmother for my dad's house and thought why don't I make my bedroom at dad's house a game studio, Cheezy Mac Bowl Playthingz was born! The concept: I wanted to make a platform game that had Mario similarities, but I wanted it to be a whole different experience than Mario. I wanted something that suited the essence of my work's vibe, and instead of just classical platforming, goofy hijinx and a wacked-out world. Instead of two jumpy plumbers who were brothers, I wanted the two main characters to be anthropomorphic adolescent friends from school, and a boy and girl for gender diversity. I also wanted the main characters to be a raccoon and a cat because those were the most mischievous and cu...

Play Pick Your Own Quest

Image
How to play: You read a paragraph and when you run into an obstacle, you have to pick one of two or three choices of how the quest continues. Only pick one as that is the right path! Pick the wrong one and start the story over. START RIGHT ON PARAGRAPH ONE. #1. You are a young mage still learn how to cast mystical spells and conjure dazzling potions. You are in your house boiling your cauldron, you are wearing safety goggles and carrying a potion recipe book. You already have three of the ingredients for a bedazzled bubbly soft drink; sparkle sprinkle, chocolate bow ties and peanut butter beetles. There's just something missing, a sour gummy skull. You just don't remember where you put it. Where did you put the sour gummy skull? ONE: The cabinet         TWO: The fridge        THREE: The cookie jar Pick ONE: You open the cabinet, but your massive pet frog is in there. Wrong spot! Pick TWO: You open the fridge and find that it's completel...

I want to learn 3D scanning!

Image
3D scanning is scanning a real thing and making it CGI, and I can't wait to learn it! I'm not ready to move on to Unreal Engine yet, I still need to get the hang of Core Engine, but there are apps that lets game designers use 3D scanning for Unreal Engine. An example of 3D scanning: Unreal Engine Tutorial: If you're wondering what kind of 3D games I want to make, well let's just say ones that have the essence of games of the '90s and 2000s. For Examples:

My Plans For A Sequel To Adventures In Mess Making

My knowledge in coding is still young, but I'm getting better at it than I did with Game Builder Garage. If you remember when I mentioned Core Engine, I'm working on a game with that platform, I'm super happy I can't wait to download more game engines made by Epic Games and use them as the years go by, including Unreal Engine. But now on the topic of this post. I am excited to create a sequel to Adventures In Mess Making , my first choice of title was "Adventures In Mess Making 2", but when I started to think about it, that was too obvious. I then came up with something more gimmicky, "More Adventures In Even More Mess Making" and I hope it will be 3-D. The first Adventures In Mess Making had Mario-esque mechanics, this sequel is going to have more Crash Bandicoot-esque mechanics, and I hope the characters of Sproingy and Luna have more moves than they did in the first game.
